    Lena is a born and raised New Yorker interested in the intersection of technology and climate. She studied computer science as an undergraduate and worked as a software engineer in healthcare and renewable energy before coming to Stern. Last summer, she worked with the New York City government on their green energy transition plan. She enjoys pop music, running, swimming, and hanging out with friends and family.

    Daisy’s passion in sustainability arose from her love of craftsmanship and material. She majored in art history and visual arts, worked in tech sales and data analytics in fintech before coming to Stern for her MBA, where she plans to work in corporate finance after graduation. On the side, she is a cake artist and runs her own business, where she uses fully sustainable ingredients in her practice. She is self-taught and an avid supporter of sustainable food systems, ethical agricultural practices, and ingredient integrity and hopes to spread awareness through her work. Daisy grew up in New York and Hong Kong and has been a NYC resident for over the past decade.

    Originally from Greece, Semina is an MBA/MPA student dedicated to integrating social impact in business. Her background in public sector energy and infrastructure policy drives her passion for impactful infrastructure projects that enhance community resilience. With experience in public-private partnerships, project management, and a keen interest in financial structuring, she is now transitioning to investment banking, aiming to integrate financial returns with lasting social benefits. Her goal is to lead initiatives that drive sustainable development globally.

    Lynn came to Stern after working in philanthropy for six years. She received a BA in International Studies and Spanish and has a Master’s in Education. She is passionate about many facets of the social impact space, including food sustainability, financial inclusion and health. Outside of work and school, Lynn loves to cook for her friends, try new foods and write with her husband.

  • Ishana Nigam

    VP FINANCE

    Ishana's passion for social impact sparked during her undergraduate experience when she took a social entrepreneurship class and collaborated with Blake Mycoskie, the founder of TOMS Shoes. After graduating, she joined Abercrombie & Fitch as a Merchandise Planner, where she identified several inefficiencies in the supply chain, including excessive packaging waste, the use of chemical dyes, and transportation challenges. She later transitioned to Warby Parker, a certified B-Corp committed to expanding access to vision care. Driven by her desire to launch her own social enterprise, Ishana spent the past summer as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company, gaining valuable insights and experience. .

    Prashant is a Bay Area native interested in technology’s impact on society. He studied computer science and statistics as an undergraduate, and worked as a software engineer before coming to Stern. Last summer, he worked at a social impact fintech startup, and hopes to work for a similarly impactful startup full time - ideally in either renewables, biotech, or cybersecurity. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hiking, learning languages, and playing and watching soccer.

    Looking to combine his real estate experience and passion for environmental sustainability, Stuart interned at JLL las summer to work on how energy efficiency in commercial real estate impacts building valuation. Prior to Stern, Stuart worked in the residential real estate and financial consulting industries. He grew up in New York City and earned his B.S. in Mathematics from Tufts University.

  • Noa Watkins

    Noa is a passionate advocate for social impact, with a strong focus on international education and development. Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Noa has traveled to 40 countries and has firsthand experience living and working abroad, including serving in the Peace Corps in South Africa and teaching English overseas. When not exploring new cultures or working toward global change, Noa enjoys reading and cherishing time with friends and family.

  • Jennifer Levine

    VP LANGONE

    Jen has always had a passion for sustainability. Growing up, she worked on her family’s small vegetable farm and learned the importance of farm-to-table supply chains. At Davidson College, she studied Environmental Studies with a focus on policy. She now works at Nuveen Green Capital which focuses on improving the efficiency of the built environment. She looks forward to representing the Langone cohort and deepening her positive environmental impact through Stern. 

  • Ian Smith

    Ian is a scientist with a passion for emerging and disruptive climate technologies. He earned his B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder, then a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Florida. In his most recent role, Ian tracked the global development and deployment of renewable energy technologies for the U.S. Army. Ian also enjoys survival and cozy gaming, and considers himself to be a fairweather runner.

  • Tony Bae (Byungil Bae)

    VP MARKETING

    At Penn State, Tony was a part of Net Impact undergraduate club and had taken a handful of grad school level sustainability courses. Tony graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a Master’s in Sustainability and won a Corporate Award at Lockheed Martin for creating an Enterprise Sustainability Strategy. He looks forward to learning and making a sustainable impact on NYU Stern & NYC communities.

  • Parth Shah

    VP MARKETING

    Outside of his 4 years living in Boston at Northeastern University (including a six-month detour to Seattle), Parth has been a New Yorker through and through. As a Langone part-time MBA, he currently works at Amazon Web Services as a Sr. Marketing Campaign Manager, where he is responsible for global go-to-market strategy for the company’s AI and Data services. Prior to that, he worked in brand and product marketing for Dow Jones, supporting its legacy media brands: The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and MarketWatch. Parth is excited by the intersection of sustainability and technology, and how the next frontier of innovation can help solve the existential challenges of our time. 

  • Gabrielle Buchanan

    Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, Gabrielle has always been dedicated to understanding the negative impacts climate change has on society, ecosystems and businesses. During her time at NYU Gallatin, Gabrielle crafted a concentration that examined social and racial injustices. Gabrielle is a part of the Langone program, and is a Vice President working in Deposits and Lending Business Risk at Citi. She enjoys traveling, reading psychological thrillers, and hanging out with family, friends and her childhood pup, Louie!

  • Adriana Giraldo

    Passionate about sustainability, Adrian has had the opportunity to work on several industrial  and supply chain projects throughout her career. Stern has helped her learn more about Sustainable Development and responsible sourcing. She really enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures.

    Cheryl is dedicated to helping organizations leverage their resources for social good. She works at the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth managing partnerships and engagements focused on advancing equitable and sustainable economic growth and financial inclusion. Cheryl was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and received her B.A. from the University of Michigan.

    Growing up in the PNW, Bryce has always been passionate about the great outdoors and community engagement. With a career spanning financial services and startup environments, Bryce currently works at Goldman Sachs in a Digital Strategy & COO capacity. Bryce received his BA in International Business from the University of San Francisco and enjoys playing tennis around the city and volunteering with NYC's LGBTQ Community Center.
