We are driving change and reshaping the Stern experience
Since its inception, SISA's student membership has grown 400% and every week students participate in speaker series, networking events and career presentations. SISA students have a range of backgrounds, functional expertise and career interests. While some students wish to make social impact and sustainability their career while others wish to pursue more traditional career paths but stay involved in the impact space.

No matter where you fall on that spectrum, Stern has a place for you.

Social Impact and Sustainability at Stern has an entrepreneurial spirit and students play a key role in shaping these offerings. Many important new initiatives have been student-driven, marking a true partnership between students, faculty and administrators at Stern. For example, we work closely with NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business to bring in external experts to speak on trending topics and host exciting case competitions to help you gain experience in the space. We also provide regular feedback to the administration on the types of courses and extracurricular learning opportunities students are asking for in addition to the great offerings already provided in the Sustainable Business & Innovation specialization.
